AngelWorks Sponsors

Our Sponsors: The Heartbeat of AngelWorks

AngelWorks is deeply grateful to our sponsors whose generosity enables us to support families with kids battling pediatric cancer. Through their contributions, we’ve been able to assist over 1,000 families, providing financial aid, emotional support, and creating moments of joy during incredibly challenging times. Our sponsors are the foundation of our mission, allowing us to stand by families from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.

Spotlight on Compassion: Meet Our Sponsors

We would like to acknowledge and thank our current sponsors for their unwavering support and commitment to our cause. These organizations and individuals have played a crucial role in helping AngelWorks make a difference in the lives of children and families affected by pediatric cancer.

Why They Sponsor

There are many reasons why people and organizations become sponsors for AngelWorks. Here are just a few.

Amy Contino

Ellie works tirelessly in the area of childhood cancer to raise awareness, increase research funding, as well as bringing some much-needed relief to the kids and families dealing with such a horrible illness. She works nonstop to do all she can for these families.

The biggest task she takes on is what she’s called “ANGELClaus,” where she arranges Christmas to be delivered (food and gifts for all family members) to families who just can’t handle the burden of the holiday that particular year.

Last year, the number of families she helped was over 130. It is an enormous task to undertake. The charity has grown significantly as has her impact. She gets personally involved with a lot of these kids and even pays for some of their funerals as well.

It is a charity built on nothing but love for these kids and her unending desire to stop cancer from taking them far too soon.

Dave Gawel

I first met Ellie Hite when she addressed my Rotary Club five years ago.

I was so impressed and touched with her tireless efforts crusading for awareness of Pediatric Cancer that I introduced her to my fellow employees at Renier Construction. Now, as a company, we sponsor AngelWorks’ efforts.

Hundreds of families who unfortunately share the common tragedy of a child stricken by cancer have benefited from the support AngelWorks provides both materially as well as emotionally.

Ellie Hite and her AngelWorks network are the epitome of service to the Central Ohio community.
