AngelWorks’ Mission

AngelWorks exists to enhance the lives of Ohio families battling pediatric cancer and raise awareness for childhood cancer funding.

Founded

AngelWorks was founded in 2004 by Ellie Hite, who serves as the organization’s president and runs the day-to-day operations. A Board of Directors meets quarterly to oversee organizational direction and finances.

Erney Tourney Annual Golf Outing, August 8, 2025

The 14th Annual Erney Tourney golf outing was held on August 8, 2025 at the Links at Echo Springs in Johnstown. The Erney family has experienced cancer firsthand and has partnered with AngelWorks for the fifth time to raise funds to support programs like AngelWings (supporting funeral expenses), Project Claus (spreading Christmas joy), and ongoing assistance with medical bills and essentials.

Make A Difference Dinner Party, November 10, 2024

Our biggest event, the Make a Difference Dinner Party, will be held Sunday, November 10, at the Jefferson Country Club in Blacklick. Join us for a magical evening of spreading hope and celebrating young cancer fighters! Raising awareness and funds for AngelWorks with delicious food, entertainment, and guest speakers. There will be an online auction, wine pull, and fun giveaways.This year will feature a Christmas Tree Auction which we are super excited about! Register Today!

The 2nd Annual Mercedes-Harley Memorial golf outing was held on June 21, 2024 at Westchester Golf Course in Canal Winchester. This golf outing is to celebrate the lives of two young sisters who died within a month of each other, one due to Osteosarcoma. AngelWorks personally touched her life and the lives of her family.
