Why Is There Such An Urgent Need For Your Support?
Pediatric cancer is the leading disease-related cause of death in children, claiming more lives than pediatric AIDS, asthma, diabetes, cystic fibrosis, and congenital anomalies combined.
Each day, 47 children are diagnosed with pediatric cancer, leading to over 17,000 diagnoses in the U.S. annually. In Ohio alone, child and adolescent cancer rates surged by 35% from 2000 to 2019.
Pediatric cancer research is woefully underfunded, and support for families facing daily financial challenges due to their fight to save a child’s life receives even less attention and funding.

Sponsor a Funeral
AngelWorks pays for funerals all year for kids taken by cancer. The average cost of a funeral is $7,640. If you would like to help a family facing the unthinkable and sponsor a funeral or part of a funeral, you can make a tax-deductible donation! There is no greater gift that you can give a family than to lift the burden of paying for their child’s funeral during their darkest hour.

We are always in need of gas, grocery, and store gift cards to pass on to families facing long hospital stays.
If you are a frequent diner at a restaurant, they may even donate a card or two if you ask!
